Unlocking the Ultimate Luxury Experience: How to Maximize Chase Sapphire Reserve Points for Top Hotel Stays

Park Hyatt Milan

Looking for luxury accommodations, but don’t want to break the bank? I’ve been using the Chase Sapphire Reserve card for years – usually staying at Category 6 or 7 Hyatts for free 🥰🥰🥰.

The card not only offers valuable travel benefits such as lounge access and travel credit, but it also allows you to transfer Chase points to Hyatt hotels at a 1:1 transfer ratio, which means you can get more value out of your points for high-end stays. Here are some of the best places to stay using Chase Sapphire Reserve points at Hyatt hotels:

  1. Park Hyatt Paris Vendome Located in 2nd arrondissement in the heart of Paris, the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome is a stunning hotel that exudes luxury. The hotel features a beautiful spa, a to-do-for bed, and a Michelin-starred restaurant. With its prime location near the city’s top attractions (the Louvre is an easy 10 min walk, the famous Ritz Bar Hemmingway is down the street) this hotel is an ideal choice for travelers looking to explore Paris in style.
  2. Grand Hyatt Baha Mar The Grand Hyatt Baha, located in the Bahamas, caters to both kids and big kids alike. The hotel features multiple swimming pools, a spa, a water park, and a range of restaurants and bars – all the way from delicious food trucks to fine dining. The resort also has a casino and a golf course, making it an ideal destination for both relaxation and entertainment.
  3. Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is a tropical oasis located on the beautiful island of Maui. The hotel features stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and offers a range of activities for guests, including snorkeling, surfing, and paddleboarding. The resort also has multiple swimming pools and a spa, making it a perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation.
  4. Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo The Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo is a beautiful hotel located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The hotel is surrounded by lush tropical forests and offers stunning views of the ocean. The resort features multiple swimming pools, a spa, and a range of activities for guests, including hiking and kayaking. We are planning to try this in May but have heard so many great reviews from close family and friends.
  5. Park Hyatt Vienna – this elegant hotel captures the essence of Viennese charm and offers world-class amenities. The building itself is a historic bank that’s been converted. The current swimming pool used to be the bank vault. The rooms are beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The location is unbeatable – situated in the heart of the city, with easy access to Vienna’s most famous landmarks like St. Stephen’s cathedral and world-class shopping right down the street. We stayed during Easter, and the entire hotel staff made us feel very welcome.

Happy luxury planning! Have you redeemed a Chase Sapphire Reserve stay? Let us know in the comments!

Discovering the Magic of Paris and Beyond: Unforgettable Day Trips to Take from the City of Love

Paris lock bridge

I absolutely fell in love with the rich culture, history, and beauty of France. From the iconic Eiffel Tower to the stunning beaches of the riviera, France is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. If you’re planning a trip to France, here are some tips to help you make the most of your visit.

Learn some French

While many people in France speak English, it’s always appreciated if you make an effort to speak some French. Learning a few basic phrases like “bonjour” (hello), “merci” (thank you), and “au revoir” (goodbye) can go a long way in making a good impression. 👍

Be mindful of cultural differences

France has a different culture and customs than what you may be used to, so it’s important to be mindful of these differences. For example, it’s considered impolite to eat on the go in France, so take the time to sit down and enjoy your meal. Additionally, tipping is not as common in France as it is in other countries, so don’t feel obligated to leave a large tip. You’ll also have to physically ask for the check. In France, it is rude for the restaurant to bring it before you ask 😉.

And onto the BEST part when you’re in France, the wonderful restaurants. Here are some of the must-visit restaurants!

  • Frenchie’s is a fantastic restaurant that offers an amazing 3-course menu and boasts a Michelin star. To ensure you get a chance to try their delicious food, make sure to set a reminder to book your reservation online three weeks in advance.
  • For a more upscale dining experience, Guy Savoy is the perfect spot. With three Michelin stars, this restaurant offers beautiful views overlooking the Seine, along with amazing food and service.
  • If you have a sweet tooth, Angelina’s is a must-visit for their decadent hot chocolate and dessert. You won’t be disappointed with their delicious offerings.
  • For cheese lovers, Laurent Dubois fromagerie is a small but world-renowned shop that you can’t miss. They offer samples of their delicious cheese and even vacuum pack them for you to take home.
  • Lastly, Charcuterie Saint Germain is also worth a visit for their top-notch cured meats. You can find this gem at 47 Boulevard Saint-Germain 75005.

Remember to book your reservations in advance to make sure you don’t miss out on these fantastic dining experiences!!

The city boasts a unique atmosphere that’s difficult to put into words, blending elements of nature, craft beer, mountains, and history into a casual, unhurried vibe. Asheville is a destination that simultaneously energizes and enchants, leaving visitors feeling refreshed and captivated by its allure.

    • Here’s a list of the Top 10 best spots to hike. We used this list to find the 3 hikes from our trip, our favorite of which was Bear Wallow. Despite its steep elevation, Bear Wallow was not too challenging and families were able to traverse the switchbacks before being rewarded with an amazing view at the top.
  • Sierra Nevada Brewery.
    • Live music, great seasonal beers and delicious food – hard to go wrong. The extensive outdoor grounds have something for everyone (even a cute kids area) and tours are offered daily.
  • Omni Grove Park Inn
    • There is fierce competition between the Omni Park Grove and the Biltmore in Asheville. I can tell you that the Omni is OUR personal favorite when visiting Asheville for it’s charm and ambience, food and hospitality.
    • Grab a cocktail and enjoy the views from the Sunset Terrace.
    • Check out the spa (*currently only open to hotel guests)
